USB
This one of the most common ports used for computers today. It allows you to be able to save data onto when you need to and you can plug into your computer and take data off the USB and store onto the computer
Cloud—skydrive apple Google these are examples of storage devices that you can access online. These are handy since you can access them on the internet instead of carrying around a Pen drive.


Hard drive
The hard drive is what you store your data with. This is where all your files and folders are located.


Bios
Bios is a program that is pre-installed onto windows based computers that computer uses to start up. Before the computer even starts the CPU accesses the BIOS.

 
Ram
The RAM is made up of small memory chips that are formed from a memory module. When you open up a new program the memory is loaded from the CPU into the RAM

Ssd- flash devices
This has many names to it, such as Pen drives, thumb drives and the USB, what ever they are they all have the same thing in common, they all use small memory that uses flash memory that uses USB connection.

Cd/dvd drive
This allows you to be able to watch movies. You can put music and pictures onto the CD
